Grand Jury Indicts Bangor Man on Multiple Drug Charges

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Bangor man facing multiple drug charges was indicted by the Penobscot County Grand Jury.

54-year-old Peter Spann faces fifteen charged related to drug dealing.

He was initially arrested with his wife Diane after drug agents searched their Ohio Street apartment this past summer.

She was not indicted.

Police say they found $3,500 in cash, evidence of drug dealing, and $2,500 worth of heroin and crack.

Authorities say Peter Spann has three prior drug trafficking convictions.

Officials say the building they live in is across the street from a city park, which is a drug free safe zone.
