Governor LePage Issues State Of Emergency Due To Severe Weather

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - Governor Lepage has issued a state of emergency because of storm damage.

It's left many Mainers without power.

On twitter, the governor says the state of emergency is to give utility companies the flexibility they need to restore power as quickly as possible.

Power crews from out of state are in Maine to help.

Drivers are urged to use extra caution.
