Gardiner meat processing company files for bankruptcy

GARDINER, Maine (WABI) A Gardiner meat processing company has filed bankruptcy.

According to court documents Central Maine Meats filed for bankruptcy protection Wednesday.

The company has been in business for just over three years.

According to the Kennebec Journal the company is between $100,000 and $500,000 in debt to 64 creditors including the IRS, Central Maine Power, and the city of Gardiner.
