Former President Among Names Added to Portland Waterfront Heroes Wall

Portland, Maine (WMTW) Several new names were added to the Veterans Count Maine Heroes Wall on Portland's Waterfront Wednesday Morning.

Among them - Former President George H.W. Bush, who served as a navy pilot during WWII.

His Grandson, Jeb Bush Jr., was there to accept the honor on the 41st president's behalf.

Also honored yesterday - Army Captain Christopher Cash of Old Orchard Beach, who was killed in Iraq, as well as the Cianchette Brothers.

"Well, I think the country's doing better than any other country - even if it's not perfect." Sayd Ken Cianchette, one of the brothers being honored.

Cianchette enlisted when he was 18.

He served in Patton's Army.
