AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) The auction of an Augusta shopping center has been postponed.
The foreclosure auction of Shaw's Plaza was planned for this month but will now take place late next month.
The Kennebec Journal reports it's valued for tax purposes at 16.4 million dollars and generates more than a third of a million dollars a year in property taxes.
Several businesses are located there.
City records indicate the plaza was built in the late 1960's.
