WARREN, Maine (WABI) - Drug agents say five members of the same family are in jail for selling fentanyl in Knox and Lincoln counties.

Investigators say they learned the family members had been traveling to Massachusetts several times a week to buy the drug and bring it back to Maine.

Agents searched the Friendship home of 29-year-old Amanda Thurston and 30-year-old Joseph Thurston as well as the Warren home of Amanda Thurston's parents, 49-year-old Steven Libby and
47-year-old Michelle Libby.

The Libby's son in law, 34-year-old Ryan Carballo, was also arrested.

As a result of those searches, agents say they found fentanyl, a handgun, $1800 of suspected drug proceeds, and other evidence of drug trafficking.

All five face charges related to the drug sales with more charges to be added, according to police.
