BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A crash at a busy Bangor intersection sent people to a hospital.
It happened around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
Traffic was backed up for awhile at the Odlin road intersection with I-395.
Police say Tyler Mitchell of Orrington was speeding through the intersection when he ran into the back of a pickup truck, which rear-ended the back of a U-Haul.
We're told there are no life-threatening injuries.
"People need to focus as they approach an intersection and slow down," said Trooper Chris Hashey of Maine State Police. "Clearly from witnesses' accounts and from looking at the scene Mr. Mitchell was approaching way too fast at this intersection and quite possibly wasn't paying attention or fell asleep because he never touched a brake before he ran into the back of the Ford."
Mitchell might face charges.
No other names were released.
The crash remains under investigation.
