PITTSFIELD, Maine (WABI) Cianbro has landed a $7.7 million dollar project in Cutler.
The Pittsfield-based company will make repairs to the naval communications station there.
Cutler Naval Station is one of only two facilities worldwide that provide submarine very low frequency communications.
Cianbro CEO Andi Vigue says, "We are very grateful and proud to have received this contract. We feel it is an honor to help ensure that the installations which support our National Defense are in top condition."
The work is expected to be completed by November.
