Challenger Learning Center of Maine: Maker Faire

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) Susan Jonason the Executive Director of Challenger Learning Center of Maine was on the noon show this week, to talk about their upcoming Maker Faire.

The Maker Faire will be held this weekend, Saturday, February 10th from 10 am to 2pm.

This is an event for the whole family and geared for children age 6 to 15.

The faire will feature a variety of Maine based creators, hackers, inventors, and artists.

Some of the people who will be presenting and making things are Bangor Makerspace: 3D printing, The Maine Space: DIY solar array system/Nixie tube frequency, Lally Broch Farms: Goat milk soap making, Anne Worthley: Knitting, and Sharon Boody-Dean: Home décor using natural elements.

Advance admission is $4 per person ($12 family maximum), At the door admission is $5 ($15 family maximum)
