Burnham Boys Makes "Sweet" Contribution To Red Cross

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) A 10-year-old boy from Burnham made a sweet donation today.

All to help those affected by recent hurricanes.

Dillon Whitney donated almost $400 to the red cross, money he made from a lemonade stand he set up at the Clinton Lions Agricultural Fair over the weekend.

Whitney's family says this is his fourth donation to the Red Cross.

"Well we've been hearing all over the news and my mom has a friend that was affected by Hurricane Harvey and he's been posting videos of what happened, so we've been watching that on Facebook."

To follow Dillon's lead and donate to the Red Cross, you can visit their website or text Harvey or Irma to 90999.
