WATERVILLE, Maine. (WABI) The Bossov Ballet Theatre at Maine Central Institute is getting ready to thrill audiences at the Waterville Opera House, starting Friday night.
Their production of 'The Nutcracker' will feature local as well as international dancers.
Through a partnership with Digital Workshop, the event will be streamed live to Maine hospitals, assisted living facilities, and veterans homes across the state.
There will be four shows, and each will be a different experience.
"You always will find some little or big details that makes one production different from another. That's why I still encourage people even though you've seen some other Nutcracker (productions) and they think, 'oh, a Nutcracker is just a Nutcracker,' it's not always the same case. So you will always be able to surprise yourself with the different moments," said Natalya Getman, Artistic Director for the Bossov Theatre at MCI.
There's a single performance Friday night, two on Saturday, and one on Sunday.
Tickets are still available and can be bought online at www.operahouse.org.
