Blue Hill Man in Prison for Brewer Robbery Sentenced for Hancock Co. Crimes

BLUE HILL, Maine (WABI) - A man from Blue Hill accused of a string of crimes in Hancock County has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

50-year-old Anthony Yurchick pleaded guilty last month to theft and forgery.

He'd been charged for cases in Blue Hill, Brooklin and Brooksville, going back to 2016.

Yurchick is already serving 13 years in prison for a robbery in Brewer.

He was sentenced in December for that crime.

Yurchick took a gun into the Brewer Motor Inn in January of last year, demanded money and then ran off.

Police arrested him later that night.

Both of his sentences will be served at the same time.
