Bangor Federal Hosts 5th Annual Golf Tournament to End Hunger in Maine

By  |

Bangor, Maine (WABI) Bangor Federal Credit Union is proud to present their 5th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Ending Hunger in Maine Campaign.

Since 1990, credit unions all across the state have banded together to raise funds and help end hunger.

To date, the Credit Union Campaign for Ending Hunger has raised over $7.2 million!

Currently, Maine is ranked 13th in the nation for food-insecure households. Fundraisers just like the Bangor Federal Golf Tournament are necessary to make srue 40% of Maine kids under 12 don't show any evidence of hunger.

With your help, the credit unions can work together to make sure that kids are able to live happy, healthy food-filled lives.

The tournament will be held at the Hermon Meadows Golf Club, on 281 Billings Rd in Hermon.

Registration begins bright and early for 7am, with a shotgun start at 8am. This event will be held, rain or shine.

Registration is $75 per person. A team may have up to four people.

To register for the event, you can go to the website at bangorfederal.com/golf.
