BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The city of Bangor offered area residents an avenue to energy efficiency Tuesday.
The Bangor Energy Expo was free to the public and featured 24 local vendors that specialize in making homes run cleaner and hopefully help the folks that own them save some money in the long run.
"We want to help residents be able to live more comfortably in their homes," said organizer Meghan Collins, "More affordably in their homes. And we know that in Bangor there is an older housing stock so being able to make some upgrades can really have an impact on people."
This is the second year for the event and the plan is to return again next year.
