American Lung Association Releases Grades for State Tobacco Use and Policy

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - Maine receiving mixed grades on this year's American Lung Association report card.

According to the report, 21% of adults and 24% of high schools in our state are currently using tobacco.

When it comes to funding for state tobacco prevention programs, Maine received an F.

However, our state got an A for strength of smoke free workplace laws.
