DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (WABI) Today folks in Dover-Foxcroft could get a glimpse into the past, dating back 150 years ago.

The Blacksmith Shop Museum held a demonstration featuring Blacksmith Peter Roderick.

The museum holds original 19th century blacksmiths tools and equipment used in the 1800's.

Dave Lockwood, the curator of Dunham Forge says the demonstrations stay true to original blacksmiths techniques.

"It's old style," said Dave Lockwood, Curator of Dunham Forge. "This is not using oxygen or, you know, modern type welding. It's what was done 150-200 years ago."

There will be two more demonstrations on August 5th and September 9th.
